At NewKino, we storyboard every project before animation production begins. Our storyboard artists work closely with directors to capture their vision through detailed sequential art and comprehensive shot lists. This meticulous pre-production process ensures creative integrity and streamlined production workflow.

Following the storyboard phase, we move into previsualization. In this crucial step, we take the approved storyboards and create a timed edit, assembling a rough cut of the entire project. This previs serves as a blueprint for timing, pacing, and narrative flow, allowing directors to refine their vision before full animation begins.

The animatic combines animation playblasts into a comprehensive edit of the project. These rough animation renders are assembled to create a working preview of the final piece, allowing directors and stakeholders to evaluate timing, movement, and overall flow. We continue to refine and adjust the animatic through multiple iterations until we are completely satisfied with every aspect. Only then do we proceed to final animation and rendering.
